In combination with Kuando Busylight UC from Plenom, the latest version of ProCall Enterprise now provides additional presence status signals on Microsoft Windows-based desktop PCs. When you are listening to a phone call or focusing on an important project, you do not want to be interrupted, because returning your concentration to your original tasks after an interruption will take at least five minutes. To solve this problem, the independent Unified Communications (UC) software vendor ESTOS has implemented plug”n”play interoperability between the latest version of ProCall Enterprise and Kuando Busylight UC. This way everyone in an office can see, whether the desired colleague is available for a conversation, busy on the phone, or simply does not want to be disturbed.

Misunderstandings can easily arise from the increased use of headsets in office environments, because it may not be obvious at first glance, if the desired contact person is busy on the phone and therefore doesn”t want to be disturbed. Today, Unified Communications software running on a desktop or a mobile phone typically provides presence information, which shows a person”s various presence states, such as: available, busy, do not disturb, offline. For the first time, Kuando Busylight UC uses the presence information from the ESTOS ProCall Enterprise Unified Communications software to display precisely this information via a multicolored LED. Thus, colleagues will be informed immediately about whether a person is busy on the phone or available for a conversation.

Kuando Busylight UC is a Windows-applicable USB device, which can be automatically detected by ProCall Enterprise and which integrates the appropriate ProCall presence status information. Busylight is a specially designed LED light, which can be mounted on any PC monitor. This powerful LED light will adjust its color scheme to match the ProCall Enterprise presence state engine and show the current ProCall status.

With this status, the company has once again earned the Microsoft Gold Software Development competency for information worker solutions with a specialization in the field of Unified Communications. This BoilerSpection-IM thermal imaging system provides the following features: detection of pinpoint issues before they grow into problems (shorter life cycles and unplanned outages), inspect buildup of ash and slag, tune combustion and manage fuel switching, safe monitoring at full load, one person operation, industry leading image quality, wireless digital video recording (DVR), robust optics (without cooling for most inspections). Typical applications of the mobile infrared camera system for boiler tube and furnace inspection are inspecting for slag and clinkers on superheat pendants in e. g. power boiler burning PRB coal, characterizing shape and length of burner fuel mixing and imaging coal stream from wall fired burner. Cleantech software specialist GreenPocket raises 3.5 million Euro in Series B financing

Cologne, May 24, 2012 – GreenPocket, one of the leading European providers for Smart Metering and Smart Home software, successfully finished its series B financing round. A group of existing and new capital providers invested under the leadership of the NRW. Bank. The decisive factors for the funding were the strong growth in revenues and GreenPocket”s recent international expansion as well as the high growth expectations for consumer-oriented software applications in the Smart Grid market.

The group includes the existing investors Schwetje Digital, Rheinland Venture Capital Fonds, KfW Bankengruppe (ERP-Startfonds) and the GreenPocket Management as well as the NRW.Bank and private investors as new shareholders. GreenPocket CEO Dr. Thomas Goette: “We are very happy that all of our present shareholders decided to reinvest in GreenPocket and that we could gain the NRW.Bank as a new strong and experienced partner.” He further added that GreenPocket will use the 3.5 million Euro to fuel international expansion, extend the product portfolio and strengthen the technological base.

In the last two years the company which was founded in 2009 always exceeded its revenue targets. Meanwhile, GreenPocket has signed up 30 renowned utilities in Germany, Austria, Spain and Great Britain. Already 4 of the top 10 largest European utilities work with GreenPocket software solutions. “Next to the very good management and the convincing business strategy the strong international customer base was the main reason for our decision to invest in GreenPocket. The company is a pioneer in a very important future market”, said Dr. Thomas Raueiser from the NRW.Bank.

Dr. Lars Fink, Managing Partner of Schwetje Digital has a similarly positive opinion on GreenPocket”s prospects of success: “The over 50 successful energy application projects reflect GreenPocket”s strong technological base. Furthermore the innovative product roadmap and the strong growth of the company convinced us to reinvest.” In ten years every modern household will include Smart Home components. “Our goal is to take over a leading international role in this dynamic growing market. Berlin, Germany March 21, 2012 – Acrolinx, the leader in content quality software, announced today the appointment of Markus Juhr-DeBenedetti as Chief Executive Officer. Andrew Bredenkamp, Founder, assumes the role of President and will continue driving product innovation and serving customers.

Markus joined Acrolinx in March of 2011 as Chief Operating Officer. He has extensive experience in the technology industry, including multiple executive management roles spanning more than twenty years. Most recently, he served as EVP Global Field Operations for Crossgate AG (acquired by SAP AG) and held operational management roles at Chordiant Software (Pegasystems NASDAQ: PEGA). In each case, he led these firms through global expansion and hyper-growth.
